FedEx Discount
Seems I recently saw a thread discussing our Cingular/AT&T discount. (approx 26% or something like that??)
I've searched this forum and FI, and can't seem to find anything.
Anybody got any intel on how to obtain the discount? With the merger/buyout I'm not sure it's the same. Seems that the discount I'm currently seeing is not what it once was. Maybe there's some special code I need.
Thanks

I got mine in person when I got a new phone. They needed a copy of my FedEx ID and that was it. If you can't get it done on the phone or on-line then try going into a Cingular store.

If you have access to the "green screen"...
Type in "mail", enter your ID and password
Type "B" for bulletin boards.
Under "Srch/Ord" type "discount".
Tab down to "DISCOUNT-CORNER-NATL" and enter "L"
Tab down to the Cingular wireless line and enter "R"
And, there you will find all the outdated discount information you will ever need. But, you'll see some codes and other information that may help you.

The code is in the above letter. You will go to Cingular's website, enter the code and your phone number. Then you will get a confirmation e-mail telling you that you are registered. Check you bill to see that the discount is applied. It may take a couple of cycles.

Yes there *is* a discount on iPhone (partially)...
..if you have a "Premiere" account - which is the FedEx discount/FAN number. (or any other eligible company)
iPhone: You will have the FedEx discount (22%) applied to your voice plan, but not the iPhone data plan.
Data plans other than iPhone: discount applied to both voice and data
You do not need to go to the green screen and don't waste your time in an AT&T store, they are typically clueless. You simply go to the AT&T business site where you enter your company email address ([email protected]) and a confirmation email will arrive in your inbox with a link and instructions for ordering.
If you are already an AT&T customer, doing the above will generate the discount and will appear on your bill in one or two cycles.
I just went through this a few months ago and spent a ton of time researching.
