So what happens when I get STVed and report to HK. 96 hours later I come down with SARS. 2 months later I make my triumphant return from a red chinese hospital (HK hospital kicked me out when my credit card maxed out). Do I owe the company 1 month or 3 for my short tour?

All FDX would have to do to get the STV slots filled is give a 10% bonus. Guys would fall all over themselves bidding for that. FDX was trying to get this LOA cheap.

We won't even get into Euro real estate prices/rents, which have historically been MUCH higher than a U.S. equivalent--and that hasn't gotten any better either. Anyone who would "fall all over themselves" to take a financial hit like this is probably walking out of 2-for-1 night...
