Sorry guys. Hopefully peak will be a mess. Until the operation is meaningfully impacted by staffing, Hete is going to keep digging in his heels and hoping for Big 3 hiring to slow.

Honest question, How is the attitude towards new hires with the current Industrial negotiations going on, Is there any animosity towards new pilots joining the Company?

I’ve been on the line for a couple of months. I haven’t experienced any kind of negativity. I’ve liked every captain I’ve flown with. I’ve heard there are a few on the line that have issues with the new hires coming on while we are in negotiations, but I haven’t met any.

You all alright over there at ATI? I am reading about canceled CA Upgrades and that the Amazon Uniforms are being ditched.

Any positive news with your negotiations, or is management trying out scare tactics?

Considering 1/3 of the seniority list was hired last year I'm happy the Amazon uniforms are going away. It was one thing to have a slightly different shade of navy pants but people wearing the Amazon black pants when the other guy isn't, wearing ATI gear over Amazon uniforms, people rocking no tie with the classic uniform. It's a **** show.

I just wrapped up IOE and everyone I've met has been very friendly and welcoming. Seems like a super pilot group!

That's good to hear. Definitely something to be said about a pilot group not holding the new hires accountable for anything ongoing such as negotiations, etc. - or prior history of the outfit.

*It's tough enough just acclimating to the job, adjusting to the culture/personalities let alone figuring it out during first year pay, etc.
