Default FCIF on LOA

Check it out when you get a chance. It sounds like there is going to be a bid whether the LOA is approved or not.............

And what would make him think anything else?

Do you think he'd go over for $2700/mo? Guess it depends on how much draft/volunteer he could fly, eh?

It probably will. The MEC backs it and the SFS guys and a few others oppose it. I think it sucks, but it will pass.

The FCIF sounds like damage control to me, "Let's fix this before the ANTI crowd gets too big". The company wants this to pass because of all the give backs, the money means nothing to them.

Why does it take so long to post the info? Didn't the MEC have it when they voted?

Well, I can tell you that I am trying to pass the word as much as possible to vote no(and give them reasons why). I think that aside from our posts here, guys hub turning need to get the word out, so that these senior guys who don't care, but will vote with the MEC, can hear some arguments on why this is a turd and should be voted down.

This FCIF is the LOA equivalent of the scheduler on the phone begging you to take a turd of trip and promising you he will make everything right down the road. Notice there is no mention of SVT. Matter of fact there is no discussion of any specifics until your over half way down the page. This FCIF is like MUZAK. It is meant lull the lemmings who are looking for a reason to vote "yes" on this LOA without making any true commitments. The company is using the megaphone of VIPS to reinforce the message that everything will be all right. I sense a little fear that this will be voted down on PC's part!
