RUMOR HAS IT: The Bid is already in the hands of the union. It's either the LOA or nothing/zilch/notta. The company has "specified" what they intend to do. Hence the union rhetoric. I'm against the LOA but this is from a GOOD, albeit GREAT, source, FWIW. Still a capital NO for me....
Assuming it is even true --- The Union has NO business leaking info like this before a vote if they are not willing to provide complete details. For the money we pay, the customer service sucks!
By the way, SVT or STV is terrible. It is a good enough cause for a NO vote, and I will vote NO, but there are many other reasons to vote no as well. I would hate to see this thing come back without svt and hear everybody say "well, the money and details are lacking, but at least no svt." It is woefully short in dollars, benefits, specifics, etc!! There should be no question that this will fail.

Don't shoot the messenger.... IMHO, they're a bunch of pushovers at Kirby who refuse to "Fight" for anything.... They'll accept what's given as long as it's better than status quo, ie CBA, and when/if pushed, will settle to enable or retain (Which is a pipe dream) a "positive working relationship with management"

Thanks for returning from the dead! I'm not sure whether or not you have been told not to post your opinions or not, but posting facts is always welcome. However, based upon the latest MD11 FO ANC slide to MEM without passover, I don't think we can use the definitions for a point of reference to how things will actually be done.

Problem is, this LOA would not be better than status quo. I'd much prefer guys to willingly go to a FDA with no COLA than for me to get inversed because not enough would go over for $3K per month.
Vote NO!

Imagine that scenario. For years the company can STV crews(three months at a time) for both airplanes to HKG. All those DHs to and from Asia--Gone! There's no need for them since guys are living over there for three months at a time.
Does 41 above mean that in order to STV an SFS/ANC/LAX crew the company has to re-domicile them to MEM? What are the implications to that?
