DW made a plea to not take out the anger towards the MEC and Officers by killing this LOA. His better idea was to recall the MEC reps and then have the new MEC recall him. An excellent idea!!!!
Thanks for the update. Did DW actually say this last night? Was there ANY mention of the fact that people were genuinely P*^^ed off at them or any sense that they did the wrong thing? I agree with the statement from the other thread that the MEC is counting on "pilot apathy" to kick in...

Herk, While I didn't have the tape recorder going last night
that's pretty much what he said word for word. I hope pilots in every LEC's are putting a request for recall ballots on their next meeting. If not, the "wait them out...they'll forget" action by this MEC will probably work. I hope people stay focused that this MEC and it's Officers have sold us out numerous times. The MEC is on it's own program and not there representing us. Dw's right, change the MEC reps and recall him.
