A little late for Memorial Day
A good friend whom I served with in Japan, back in the mid-60's sent this to me and I thought I'd share it with you. This was our war. Like every war, a very sad affair indeed. Please keep our service men and women in your thoughts and prayers.

It’s good to see someone put something up like that. After all the B*t&ching we do on these web boards, how soon we forget what people in the past as well as the present have gone thought. Like us, the boots on the ground right now in Iraq and Afghanistan, they volunteered for it. They lives right now, makes ours look like a dream. So when you are walking through an airport like ATL or DFW and see them walking around, stop for a second to thank them for all that they have given up to do a job most of us would not do. I have…….have you??

Yep, sure have. Fortunately, I see many other people in our aiports going out of their way to treat our men and women in uniform with honor. I'll ask them if they're coming or going, and either wish them luck or welcome them home.
As for the video, awesome. Right now, it seems it's a core group of Nam vets, their families, military members, and motorcycle riders keeping the memory of Vietnam Vets alive. I sincerely hope one day that those Vets take their rightful place along our WWI and WWII vets in the pantheon of America's heroes.
