The current rate at the Holiday Inn is something like $64, $71.91 out the door after adding taxes and fees.
There are two other options. One is the Quality Inn right next to the Holiday Inn, which was charging the same rate last time I stayed there, but it's been a while. I've had problems there and they won't guarantee you'll get 24 hours if they're booked up. (The normal deal for these rooms is that you get 24 hours in the room from the time you check in, and you're not tied to the normal check-in/check-out times.) The other is the Microtel in Florence. The rate there was a little bit lower and the location is better, but it's not a great place. The Holiday Inn is no great shakes, especially since the new owners can't figure out how to keep from filling the toilets with hot water, but the Microtel is several steps down the quality ladder.

nothing like sleeping in a room with 300 pilots. 50% with sleep apnea, and the rest of the gems discussing CBA issues or their 2nd family in HK. Can’t beat it. I wonder what kind of filth gets picked up whenever, if ever, they clean those recliners … Yumm

before the outbound. They are leather chairs not cotton, that said
I rarely see anyone who doesn't grab a clean sheet from the rack
to cover the chair 1st. It's not as bad as you want it to sound.
We all ride around on the crew bus, hotel van etc. Cant really live in a bubble
and leave the house.

Tip: it isn't. Get your company to pay for a hotel. It's fatigue mitigation.

This says it all and definitely live well outside the city. Some good eats/establishments to hang out to be sure, but all around still a sh*tshow literally. Just did a CVG out to Japan and back last week. Walked to the Kroger and yet another person crapping right in front of it. Cleaning crew was fairly efficient with the powder and construction cone marker 30 min later. At least steps are being taken with two fully combat vested rifle toting police standing outside (can't do much about it there it seems), but having security guards inside the Kroger with sidearms says a lot. Sad how things have deteriorated in many of cities.
