OMG...I'm not here to give a history lesson about the airline industry, any specific industry segment, nor a single carriers' history. It wouldn't hurt the younger crowd to learn a little bit about where their industry came from, and just as important, where it could be going in future times. Try Google, or maybe even read a copy of Flying the Line.

Those are the words of an aspiring buy low and sell high optimist. You can hope that your ACMI turns to gold in one hand and... see which one fills up first. Your time is finite. Don't gamble with it.

People who have made particular career choices based on their own individual goals and desires are not gambling. Suggesting that they have made the wrong choice because you find it inferior in some way is awfully condescending. There are plenty of people out there in this career field and others who have made choices based on money and later wished they had chosen differently.

Is working 7 fewer days per year as compared to the 2009 CBA is not a significant change? Is a 41% increase in retirement from the 2021 agreement to the 2024 extension - 140% if you're counting only the direct contributions excluding matches, and escalating to 200% by the end of the extension - not significant? Oh, and don't forget about the cash-over-cap provision included in that. Is the creation of premium open time in order to reduce involuntary junior manning not significant? The definition of "weekend trip" has been expanded, and weekend and holiday trips are now protected in order to address complaints about training displacements, and those who agree to be displaced from such trips are displaced into days off with the ability to bid for open time that will be paid over guarantee. Is that not a significant change? These are all changes that have occurred in 2021 and 2024.
If this is what "hasn't changed much since 2018" looks like, then I'm curious what earth-shattering changes you're expecting every time someone signs a new agreement.

[QUOTE=Armyguy;3820605]are ABX schedules posted somewhere so we can jumpseat on you all?
Thanks, former ABX'er who left in late 2017 and glad I did. So much for being the Prime

2 ABX was never going to be "Prime" airline. That was ATI with the bag tags and goofy
uniforms.

Daytime Flying
Good morning -
I have been tracking the daytime flights for a few weeks now trying to gauge the frequency of ops. Do the daytime flights go senior? Or, is it luck of the draw based on your bids? As of this post, there were 4 birds up with a takeoff time of about 0600ish, mainly headed west.
I spent quite a bit of time flying at night in the middle east so I don't mind it. Curious how it works out if you have an early morning 0200-0400 arrival into KCVG and an additional leg.
Thanks,
V1
