Mountain Air Cargo updates?

I know it's already been said in previous posts...but the C408 pay is only $70K!?! I know they aren't Empire paying $85k, but has MAC had any problems with staffing those birds? It's unbelievable (not really if you know the history of upper management) that they're finding competent, qualified bodies for that seat. Sad! Being non-Union, are there, perhaps, people that have negotiated a higher starting pay depending on previous 135/121 experience? As a previous employee back in the bad ole days of '08, I love MAC. The people were great, the crews were highly experienced old freight dawgs, and I learned more about flying, at that point, than I had in all my previous flight time.

If you are a floater, and you commute, do you commute to base and then they commercial you where they need you for the week? Will they get you a flight right from home to where you will be working for the week?

What’s the latest at MAC these days?
With the latest news of FedEx not hiring and insisting on pilots going to a regional airline what is management saying to you?
Has the purple runway program been suspended?

They just approved four new candidates into the program the last 30 days I believe, it's going strong. Expect to be here over 3 years to flow as they require 500 PIC in the ATR or 408
