UPS hiring window now closed

Ohhh, lets not be snobs here boys. I know guys recently happily hired by the following airlines:
Delta, AirTran, Continental, Cathay (US based). They may not be the cash-cows that UPS/FedEx are but they certainly pay a livable wage.

Happily swimming!
First of all, make sure you have a 2007 application in. Might not do any good to keep updating a 2006 or older application. Don't start it until you know that you can check all the boxes and input all your information. Updates might not be allowed and you might get locked out till 2008. Upload a resume (and cover letter?) when you submit your online app. If you happen to be what UPS is currently looking for (heavy, international, and other) then you might get the email for the online questionnaire within a few weeks. If you "pass" that then you might get a request for a resume (if you didn't provide one online). Few wks later you should get the interview call.
If its taking longer (months or years) then you are either not getting considered based on your experience or your application is someone not getting in front of the HR folks.
Good Luck!
Biggs, let me know if you see my folder in the trash outside the training center!

Wow, not even sure how to reply...Maybe - two years ain’t nothin’ !?
Let's see, I applied in '98 had quite a few friends as well, went to numerous job fairs, AirInc and WAI, a few of my sponsors even joined me at some of the job fairs on their days off, finally I started in '06...Frustrating? Nah, absolutely worth the wait...
Good luck to you, I mean it...
