Amazon is the single biggest threat to the cargo industry and jobs. The company should be broken up.

Amazon ain't bringing an already unionized labor group "in house." It's against their DNA.

But whipsawing, and disrupting labor markets? Now we're talking.

Spot on. This is how Amazon and DHL keeps our CBAs down. Somebody starts making too much coin - they move the planes and/or flying to another carrier. Lots of examples in recent history. If we carried our own freight/passengers we might have a better chance.

Yup. I remember when ATI was the lowest paid Amazon carrier. As soon as the signed a contract (making them the MOST expensive of the three) Amazon stopped giving them airplanes. Started giving them to Atlas (the lowest paid by over 50%) Even took to airplanes from ATI and gave them to Atlas. Said if they didn’t fix it they would give all of the ATI flying to Atlas. ATI will never see another airplane until Atlas signs a better contract. If Atlas is smart they will sign a contract for 10% less than ABX to keep getting all those new jets.

But the majority of your people go to the election box and vote against their own self interest. Sigh.

Don't bring in bullcrap politics, the previous president did nothing in that regard.
As for the other arguments, fly for more than one customer, and make Amazon compete for your lift. Connie knows enough to not sign a deal with the devil.

Interesting.....there is no better puppet master than DHL...makes Amazon look like amateur hour. 90% percent contract carrier's and constantly moving flying between companies...

This!! You can say many things about Connie, but stupid and lack of vision ain’t one. If all Prime subcontractors would stand up to Bezos, he’d be freaking out. But it would take a very concerted effort to squeeze him out, too much greed in this world!!
