I'd HIGHLY work for a company with a union than one without one ANYDAY. Even if the non-union company pays 50k more a year.
You are right.

National is non-union so crews max at 30 hours duty instead of 22 at Atlas & Kalitta. That difference afforded me, & many others, 3 months off last year while getting paid minimum guarantee. It’s hard work, but having the option is nice too.

Atlas & Kallita provide uninterrupted time off at home after reaching a certain seniority. No such benefit at National. Instead, when crews are home, their time off is never broken regardless of their date of hire.

GDO pay of 200% is providing some FO’s around 40K per month. Captains, a heck of a lot more.

Worldwide home basing instead of just domestic. Far easier to get home & back with multiple airlines & at no cost to crews.

Not everything is black & white as it may appear from the outside.

All aircraft, including the 757 & A330 operate under FAR 119.2: Domestic, flag & supplemental.

Yes, I know. It seemed remarkable that anyone might question whether a 757 was operating under Part 135.

It's often incorrectly stated that there's no such thing as a foolish question.

This is, of course, untrue.
