ups FAAR 1.1 pic

Scheduled? I don't think the schedule has anything to do with PIC. I think I understand the deal now pretty well. "relief pilot" time is referring to FO's logging PIC time while the Captain is resting. This time is not allowed toward PIC. PIC time is just as stated in the FAR's, all the time you signed for the aircraft and were in command/responsible for the flight.

Back to SWA real quick, did anyone use their "other" time since being certed as an AC toward their PIC hours. I did, so just want to hear what others have done. I figured since I signed for the aircraft there have been times I did not get out of the seat but logged "other" time due to 3 man crew. I guess I would have to justify it to them, huh? If I cant count it, there goes 350 hours and no 1300 PIC hours. Thanks all.

With that said though, I have a friend who didn't have enough PIC time to meet the min 1300 without the other time. He added it in, and then explained it at the interview, even though it explicitly says not to include it on the website. Guess what, he was hired!
I would still at least call the SWA PD first and tell them your situation and your take on being A coded. That way, at the interview, you could say that you asked and they said you could. Or, if you don't want to know the answer, don't ask the question.
If you're close to 1300 without other time, I would fly my A** off and get there. That's what I did. You hate to be interrogated about something at the interview. You never know who you'll get and they might think you're trying to pull a fast one on them.
