Exactly my point. I didn't appreciate your misquoting me, so I thought you might understand that feeling a little better if someone misquoted you. Guess it worked.

Maybe next time you'll not quote out of context. And for the record, MaydayMark didn't threaten anyone (that I know of.)

Look if you have a sponsor, have him introduce you to his friends that work there. If he is a decent guy, he will have friends that would probably help you out. You have to have flown with your sponsor, not necessarily your other recommendations (although it would be helpful). If your sponsor really wants to help you out and you are good friends, he will help you out. If he doesn't do anything, he probably doesn't want his name attached to you anyway.

If you can read, Fed up says he's willing to meet and foster a relationship with anyone that is open to that, is that so nuts?

Not unless you want to avoid being on 'To Catch a Preditor'

Honestly, I admire the willingness to do anything to get the job...'you can trust Gary, he bleeeeped my bleeeeep last night.' But to expect to find someone willing to do this, much less have the recommendation hold any water is quite unrealistic.

The best advice is to have your/his sponsor introduce you to his friends at the company.
