Default NMB brings UPS and pilots back to table

Definitely the best news of the week for us boxheads.....

National Mediation Board Calls UPS, Union Back to Table

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Capt. Rick Barr
Flight District Manager

The National Mediation Board has ended the recess in negotiations between UPS and the Independent Pilots Association, requesting both parties to resume negotiations Sept. 15 and 16 in Washington, D.C.
We are glad to be returning to the negotiating table where we can continue to work toward a fair agreement that is good for our crewmembers, the company and UPS stakeholders.

UPS continues to believe this contract will be resolved through mediation and without any disruptions to our customers. We maintain our commitment to the negotiations process and believe this process, with the support of the NMB, is the most productive way to reach an agreement.
