Default CommutAir or Endeavor???

Sorry to start a new Thread. Looking for Professional advice from Professional Aviators. I have 700 SIC EMB-145 121 time. I'll be commuting from DFW or IAH. My goal is to upgrade ASAP and earn a livable wage. I've been through all the threads and have done my research. I have interviews with both and Republic. I'm just not sure about the upgrade time at Republic. I'm only short an ATP and 300 hours turbine before I can apply at a Main Line.

I have lots of turbine PIC helo time if anyone knows who accepts it.

Any professional advice would be much appreciated.

Just apply to envoy and not commute and be dfw based. Clearly you did poor research if you aren't even gonna look at them and their QOL at the moment

I'm very familiar with Envoy. I was an Eagle guy at one point in time. I've made that mistake before and won't do it agin. I don't want to sit reserve for an unknown amount of time in DFW. I don't want to sit in the right seat for 5-7 years, and the flow is awesome if I wanted to sit at Envoy for 7-10 years. I don't care about the 15K sign on if I can upgrade in a year somewhere else. Thank you for your advice.

as a C5 pilot I can tell you that things here are moving fast. Someone hired in January of this year is already above 50% of the seniority list. If you get in soon, you will be in a good spot as far as qol, and movement. Endevour is a good choice too, and you will probably make a little more there once you upgrade, but you won't move up the list anywhere near what you will at c5. Contract at C5 is great for commuters, and pay protection, but not great in regards to reserve. For what it's worth there has been a lot of talk about a Houston base down the road, but I wouldn't put too much weight on that.

Look at the commute for the jr bases and see which one you can get to easier. That would be the main question. Also, C5 pays for 4 hotels a month to commuters before or after a trip.

The money looks about the same at both Airlines due to the bonuses. I think you might end up at United before Delta through the programs they both have. Do you want to work for United or Delta would be the second main question.
