I have gotten the impression you need someone advocating for you from the inside. The Delta pilot I talked with at OBAP told me they are only scoring apps that other pilots have recommended. The FEDEX rep said the same thing. The FEDEX rep kept saying "cant you find a pilot who works at FEDEX?"
A friend of mine got hired by United recently. He has less than half my flight time and his resume isn't as strong as mine (just my personal opinion) BUT he did know someone who advocated for him. Hopefully he advocates for me in 6 months (he doesn't start training until April).
On a side note: I went to OBAP and it was very well run. I almost went to the NGPA job fair and after reading the reviews on here I am glad I didnt. Any insight into how WIA will be? WIA only gives 2 fast passes for a day attendee......will there be a chance to stand in a line and talk to other recruiters? Will that line actually move faster than a snails pace?
Thanks and good luck everyone

Speaking of Airlineapps.com, I noticed they have section for simulator flight time. My hours are fairly competitive. Not sure why they have this section. I just left it blank as I don't see how it can help. Pilotcredentials doesn't even have a place for sim hours and I sure didn't put them on my resume. Thoughts....? Is anyone filling in this section?

If you only have 1 day available to attend WIA, can you still get a fastpass for the airlines you're seeking the most and be guaranteed to get time with them? It'll be my first conference and trying to get things sorted out before registering.Thanks.

United fast pass is gone on Friday March 11. United was the only airline I listed on my request. I was given a time with DELTA. I'm not sure how that worked. Kind of disappointing considering the cost to go.

Will they release more on the 11th? Also, can we talk to them at the exhibit hall?
