We also do a bunch of redeye turns out of FLL and IAH that make cargo guys cringe.
Also just about all of the trips out of LAS will start with a red eye.

I have an interview coming up looking at the pay scale and benefits why would I want to go there?
I am a regional captain who is making almost as much as some captains there. The difference is I carry 70 pax you all are carrying over 200, seems JetBlue or united might be a better option...
Anyone care to change my mind?
A bush in the hand beats two at the bar...go to the interview just to get the experience under your belt. You can always say no.

This thread cracks me up....pilots sure are short sighted, eh? Turn back the clock a couple of years, remove Spirit from the thread title and replace it with US Airways.

The pay rates will get to where they need to be soon enough.

Damn, such a true statement. Next year it'll be Frontier, then maybe JetBlue, then Delta, then so on and so on.

Didn't mean any disrespect to the pilots there. It's more of a base issue for me. That and the double furlough thing (my brother was a recipient of that) put a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe post Glenn and Jeff it's better.

No offense taken brother! Very valid reasons for uncertainty.
