What's the name of the hotel you stay at? Also if it's so bad why hasn't ALPA done anything about it?
QUOTE=Feng;2049909]Reimbursement for personal expenses incurred while on business. In the airlines, it comes in the form of per diem. In the corporate world, you charge the taxi, dinner, toothbrush..etc to your company card.
The monies is basically to be used for sustenance. If the company provided you food for the 6 weeks instead of per diem, would you count the monetary value of that as income? Per diem basically gives you a choice of where to eat.
And $25/day is hardly generous when eating out of a hotel with no close by grocery store and no kitchen suite.[/QUOTE]

I was under the impression that we finally got out of that crappy Crowne Plaza (nice hotel for three days while you're waiting for your cruise ship to arrive, but absolute sh!t for training) and moved the new-hires to a hotel with, amongst other things, a kitchen. (Hyatt House?)
Is this not in fact the case? Are we still sending new-hires to the Crowne?
