(Typed a long response and lost it, bleh). I am in a similar position, except without getting an interview so far, so congrats on that. I am not sure what networking you have been doing, but moving from a Pilatus to a Gulfstream is no easy feat, and moving from a Pilatus to a Major is more difficult, regardless of aircraft flown in the past.
It sounds like you are at a Surf Air or Boutique type company and while it is great that you have that much time home, the pay is to be desired, especially in California. If some tragic event happened somewhere that put aviation in limbo again, would you rather be making $75k with 15 days off, or be at a company where your pay was improving each year, and hopefully your schedule as well?
I am at a 135 company with 10 days off a month, no vacation or sick time, so for me even though it would be a pay cut the first three years, its worth it. First year would suck, second year I would be coming close, and third year I would be about where I am now... the difference being the opportunity to upgrade to Captain at Frontier which would then put me ahead of where I could be here, and if for some reason the Majors never call me then I have some control over my schedule and life.
If youre using them as a stepping stone, then it will give you much better chances of getting called to a Major, in my opinion.

If I lived in Cali or the west coast, I wouldn't come here. United is putting new hires in SFO so I would go there instead.
SO FAR F9 has reduced a lot of west coast flying so you would be commuting off line for the most part.

Just a friendly reminder that you can't simply "go to United". You have to, you know, get hired first....
