So at 1200 hrs they can upgrade? And at 1500 hrs leave for a regional with 300 hrs TPIC? I'd leave at 1500 hrs and get on with a regional airline that has a flow agreement.
Tops I'd wait to 500 hrs TPIC if you're banging out 80-100 hrs a month. That would be another 2-3 months after reaching 1500 hrs.

in general, 1000TPIC (even single, as long as it's turbine) will ALWAYS be a better bet than same number hours of SIC jet or otherwise... ideally, do the PIC experience then maybe move to a regional in the right seat of a Jet or Turboprop and get some multi experience.. too many airlines require 1000TPIC to even apply ... would make it too hard to get the interview with just a lot of SIC time in your log book
