Prior IACRA applications - experience errors
Hello all,
Time to renew my flight instructor certificate - yay! To make sure I was doing my due diligence with regards to the experience section of the IACRA, I spent some time today totaling experience using my last IACRA as a baseline. That's when I discovered that some experience records on my last IACRA were WAY out of line. The nature of the errors is such that I find it hard to believe that I, my instructor, and multiple DPEs whom I had the pleasure of working with could possibly have entered these kinds of numbers or overlooked the fact that they didn't seem normal. I'm compelled to think that IACRA incorrectly stored this data or something similar because of just how WAY out of line some of the numbers are.
My concern is that when I submit an IACRA that correctly reflects my experience as of today, some of the experience numbers (not in anything significant like Total Time, but in other categories like Night Instruction Received) will actually have decreased from my previous application. Will this raise red flags with Oklahoma City? Does anyone else have experience with IACRA previous applications becoming corrupted or similar weird occurrence?
