Default Corporate to Legacy/Major

There have been a lot of different threads lately in regards to people getting hired. I am interested to see who has gone from a Corporate flying position to a Legacy/Major and what their quals have been. Thanks for playing guys & gals!

One of my good friends just got hired at United, purely a 91 guy. He had some part 135 early in his career, probably 3000-4000TT. Knew someone up there at United, so it is definitely possible.

Hired at Spirit with

4300 TT, 2500 turboprop PIC (2000 of that was part 121 TPIC).

Prior 121 experience, but had been flying part 91 corporate for over two years when I got the call.

Logbook question for people who have made the transition:

I'm a part 91 guy, 4500TT, five type ratings, current Gulfstream PIC. I Never put much effort into my logbooks as I never intended to head to the airlines. (I would always just take the computer printouts, make a monthly entry, etc).

Now that I'm applying, do I need to go back and copy them into a new logbook? Go Electronic? Do DAL and UAL really comb through them?

Thank you in advance! Very different going from a corporate interview process to the airlines.
