PC12 full benefits or Jets with no life.

I had the exact same choices 12 years ago that you do now. I chose jets, but the price has been really high:
A divorce
Still no quality of life
Always on call
Countless missed family moments that you can never get back.
Your children let down, again & again &.........
It's really an "age " thing. If you are young & jonesin for jets, prudence, practicality & reason will usually be set aside. Only later, one day, when U r somewhere in Timbuktu, will the lightbulb moment materialize.

I keep going back and forth. Losing my job flying a turbo commander. I have an opportunity to go into a PC12 with full benefits, PTO, 7 days on 7 days off. OR get a Lear 35 type, Falcon 50 type, no benefits on call all the time, 2-4 year commitment after training contracts. Both jobs pay the same.
What would YOU do!?

I would love to fly a PC12 infact I been thinking of starting a 135 cargo and I'm hoping to be able to afford a PC12 for cargo, they make great cargo planes with those big doors.

Get another job. I decided that if I wanted to feed my self and family, I would need to leave aviation, fortunately I discovered that if I got an A&P I could feed my family and still stay in aviation. That's what I did, and I wish I would of done it a lot sooner.
