Default Anyone commute out of SDF?

I am looking to leave my 135 job for the 121 world. I want to move back east specifically to Louisville, KY if possible. Does anyone commute out of SDF? If so, to which airports and how is your commute?

I used to. I lived up by JVY for a while. It all depends on who you work for. I hopped to ATL and never had problems.

Usually ATL, ORD, DTW and CLE are doable, but that was a few couple years ago. DFW if AA or Eagle, but there were only a few AA flights there...more challenging.

Good thing is that you can get anywhere on UPS early that am...as long as you don't mind waking up very early and don't have an 0400 show or call time. Most UPS flight depart between 0330-0500.

Hope this helps a bit.

Thank you convair5800 for your response. I forgot that UPS is an option for commuting.

Yeah...they're great! They've always treated me incredibly nicely...Never had any issues with them.

Thing is that you have to arrive at Edgewood around 0200 local in order to pass security, hop in the shuttle, go to the j/s desk, and then meet the crew 1 hr prior to departure...so that could make for a very early wake-up time...but it beats leaving the afternoon/evening before and paying for a hotel or pad.

Just my .02.
