I have heard of people getting hired on the spot with a Regional.
With a major....I seriously doubt it.

Would anyone mind sharing some info on the logistics of the job fairs? What can we expect when we show up? How do we get face to face time with the recruiters?

Much appreciated.

Happens all the time at OBAP and WIA.

What's the typical dress code at WIA? Suit, business casual?

The dress code at WIA is business formal, suit and tie.

I think for the "job fair" aspect of it, you'll be right, for the rest of the conference, it will be predominately female.

Where is a good place to search for upcoming job fairs? Are there any in the DC Metro area, PA, DE, VA, WV? I live about 45 minutes outside of D.C. in Maryland and it would be interesting to attend one.

You can take a look at FAPA, Aero Crew Solutions, Women in Aviation and OBAP.

Women in Aviation have their conference this week in Nashville, OBAP has their career fair on April 11-12 in Vegas and Aero Crew has one in Chicago on May 18.

Haven't heard of any in your area. The most expensive aspect of going to the job fairs is the cost of airline tickets. The WAI Conference is relatively close for me, only a 6 hour drive.

Thanks for the response! I will put these sites in the favorites. I see a couple in Atlanta. I have friends there so probably wouldn't be an issue to go down there for a couple days.
