I have my bachelors degree already as well, I busted a$$ to get through all of my schooling and to finish my training quickly so that I could pursue my career. I was told by my senator that anyone hired prior to the bill would be grandfathered in, I'm starting to wonder if I was given false information. Does anyone know any part 135 carriers that would hire with what I have now?
Okay, so your 19, with your bachelors degree CFI, II, and MEI? Okay so when did you have time for high school?Or am I talking to Chuck Norris/Albert Eiensteins son here.....I mean I'm just curious.

I graduated early from high school, while taking college classes while in High school. I didn't fool around when I was younger, I got a set up for my future, and wanted to make the best of it. (Not related to chuck norris, or albert einstein though :P )

You are 19 and have your college degree? And you want to be a pilot? Why? You sound like a smart guy, get a MS in engineering or something and buy your own plane. Also, while you are young I recommend buying a back pack and going to Europe for a year.

My advice: Chill the hell out.
Not trying to be rude, but, dang brother......you a missing out on a lot of fun and life experiences. I understand you want to get ahead, but if you are just work, work, work and have no stories to tell or real life learning experiences outside of aviation, I promise you're going to regret it at some point in your life.
I'm big on the wholistic approach to living. It sounds like you're trying to be a 747 captain ASAP. Have some fun, flight instruct, drink, dawg chicks, drink, flight instruct, go on road trips, drink, dawg chicks and/or flight instruct.
Take a deep breath and live a little. You're 19, I assure you you are ahead of the power curve.

Hey guys, been looking around and it seems like I've found myself in a rut. I am 19 years old, with my Commercial AMEL and ASEL, along with MEI, CFII, CFI. I have about 450TT and 150ME. I have been trying to find somewhere that I can work and start to get some Turbine time, even if it is SIC for the time being. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions where I could apply. I would like to get into an airline before the ATP law goes into effect, but it seems like everywhere has a minimum age of 21.. (I turn 21 5 days before the law goes into effect). I dont know what to do, and decided to look to all of you for some guidance!!
Thanks!

Get your degree, get your degree, get your degree. You have plenty of time to go to school and use your ratings to teach or fly checks. Sure you may be young but all it takes is one freak accident and your medical is gone. Have a backup!
