Default Comprehensive Background Check on Self

Just wondering where I could get a thorough "airline style" background check done on myself before I apply anywhere. Is there one place I can get this done? I need to get any records that pertain to me in any of a multitude of record banks.
Criminal, employment, FAA, PRIA, etc etc.
Thanks

Yes, send a finger print card, an 18.00 money order, and a letter of permission for a background check to the FBI office in virginia. I forget the address off hand, but if you call your local FBI office they will fill you in on the details. This is for criminal records only, not employment. Also, make sure that you pull your driving record from the DMV because some traffic offenses/tickets may not show up on the FBI check.

Note: If you can pass this check then you should be fine.

You might check out this company:

Job References | Employment Verification | Pre Employment Screening | Bad Job Reference Checking | Cease and Desist Letters | Employee and Renter Background Checks | Allison Taylor

I haven't used them but have heard a few good reviews. They do a full/comprehensive check across several databases and will also verify what previous employers are reporting on you.

You can also pass background check, PRIA, employment references, submit LORs, be offered a job & wait for your training class to be assigned, only to then be told to take a hike. This has happened to me and others I know, more than once.

What are these recruiting departments thinking?

Take a hike as in rescind offer? Something didn't jive when everything came back, who did this to you?

I can't imagine any traffic citations appearing on a FBI check. I was told if you weren't booked and fingerprinted it wouldn't show on a FBI check. I have no knowledge this statement is true however it wouldn't surprise me. I know for a fact that 2 minor consumptions I had do not show on any background check. These were issued after my 18th birthday too. I still disclose them.

There are set criteria for what is reported to the national (FBI) database. Traffic tickets and some minor misdemeanors don't qualify. But if the offense does qualify, arrests are reported and show up even if there is no conviction.

So if you have 2-3 DUI arrests with no convictions the airlines will know that you're an irresponsible drunk who can afford top-notch lawyers.
