Resume building for a 21 year old
Currently a junior in college pursuing a double major B.S. in Geography and a B.S. in Sociology w/ a PPL. This summer I hope to knock out the IR and Comm & next summer finish up with the ME + CFI, CFII, MEI. If you were in my boat (grad in 2012 hopefully with the all the ratings) how would you go about building not only flight time, but expanding your contacts in the aviation industry. Job's, internships, anything else?!? I want to give myself the best opportunity for success early on and not wait until the last min. Any ideas, no matter how out there, are welcomed. BTW I'm in the PHX area.

Internships at airlines can be a golden opportunity, most airlines will hire their former interns years down the road. However...DO NOT waste this opportunity on a regional airline, it's basically easy to get hired at a regional, so do internship(s) at major airline if you have the opportunity.
As fas as jobs go, you could try to get a job at the local airport where you would like to work as a CFI when you finish your ratings. That way you could meet people and find out what's going on.
Every job I've ever had in aviation was arranged by somebody I knew.
