Bizzarre Interview Questions:
It looks as if HR is getting more savvy to interview questions and are rapidly changing these questions in order to see if you can think outside the box. Personally, I believe the purpose is to throw the interviewee off guard. How some one responds to a bizarre question often speaks volumes on their personality traits and how they handle stress and unexpected events.
Q:You're a pencil trapped inside a blender, how would you get out?
Q: If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be? Be careful here not to be gender sensitive.
Q: How many ridges are on a quarter?
Q: An apple is 20 cents, an orange is 40 cents, and a grapefruit is 60 cents. How much is a pear?

If I'm a pencil trapped in a blender, getting out isn't a concern since as an inanimate object I have no concerns.
If I were a superhero my special talent would be to be able to stop time. Then when I wanted to lay around all day on the couch, naked, I could do so without my wife bugging me about it.
How many ridges on a quarter? Enough. Actually it's 119 (and according the US Treasury, they're called reeds). Why are there 119? Because 120 wouldn't fit.
The pear costs whatever the price tag says it costs.
