you might want to bring the most recent log book just incase they ask (although they already have your hrs) to see it. Don't photo copy the whole thing unless you call and confirm that that is what they want, you can always ask questions and not look like an A$$ then.

They aren't asking for copies of your logbook - they are asking for copies of legal documentation they need to put on file. ie. pilot's license, medical, etc.
Do bring ALL of your logbooks - they need to see your original endorsements.
PS - don't forget to sign every page of your logbook...

possible logbook entry mistake
Quick question. I just recieved a date for an interview with a cargo company and they have sent over quite a bit of paperwork as expected. Here is where the problem starts. I have been going over my logbook for the past week making sure everything is in order, however, even though I have surpassed their required flight time (Turbine PIC) by a few thousand hrs, I have about 50+ hrs or 1%, that doesnt match up with company recorded flight time (monthly pairings actual block time). I am in the process of trying to locate this time but have been unsuccessful so far. So, my question to you or anyone who knows, what information do majors pull from your company with this paperwork. I do not want to have a successful interview and have them call me a week later telling me your total PIC did not match up with company recorded flight time. Thanks in advance!

I really hate the way some applications make you break down your time into strange categories. I remember one application that asked me for a breakdown of my night PIC multiengine crosscountry time between centerline thrust and non-centerline thrust. Sure, it can be done, but why? No paper logbook has room for as many different categories of flight time as some applications ask for.
I also had one chief pilot question why my single engine time plus my twin time was so much lower than my total time (he didn't look at four engine time).

Since you have thousands of hours more than they require, why don't you just go with what has officially been recorded by your company? You know what your flying time is, but you can present the "official" times to your new prospective employer. I certainly don't see this as dishonest - you're erring on the conservative side.
The rule of thumb is to never overstate your hours. That is documented hours to support what you purport on your application.

Here's another question for you. Is there any way to use Log Book Pro in the interview process? It has saved me a lot of time, but now I'm way behind on the paper book, like 500hrs behind, and I really don't want to go back and put it in the old paper version. Obviously I'm going to if I need to, but what a pain!

What I do now is keep the details in the e-logbook, and then just do a monthly entry for 121 time in the paper book. I still use the paper book for GA, so I want all the totals to match.
Then again, it might be easiest to start writing, maybe in an abbreviated form as above, maybe not. 500 hrs. isn't all that much if you spread it out over a month or so. When I first came over here DGCA wanted to see ALL my logbooks (19000 hours worth!) and it's a good thing I kept them up line by line. It wasn't absolutely essential, but it helped. They like paperwork in the TW. You just don't know what the future holds ...
