I don't know if you're at jetcareers.com, but there is a pretty active thread over there, and a few guys that have worked their post.

Yes, I have tried jetcareers.com. I did get some info, but not too much. I guess they changed up their interview process.

Pretty good pay....lots of students....bad english...free housing..10 month contract, and I think they the CFII/MEI is free if you stay.

Not a bad gig, from what I have been told.

Does anyone have any experience instructing at a school that caters to the foreign contracts schools? I have a question about the average length of time it takes to get a student checkride ready.

It depends....typically if you fly with them 5-6 times a week, they usually finish the PVT or INST in about 4-6 weeks.

I worked there for 12 months and now I can say I miss it. But while I was working there we had the worst working conditions, the worst planes, the worst students the worst of everything! But god did I have fun sometimes. I"m on an overnight in MKE and just got back from partying with one of the guys I worked with while I was at sierra. The people you will met are the best. If you have any other questions fire away.
