Stick with the path or move on??
Good evening guys im currently sitting here filling out applications. Who knows why. Id love to hear your opions..... ive been workingt my butt off to try and put myself in this position. The older I get the more emphasis I put on being able to drive to work. Im currently at b6. Ive really enjoyed my experience here captains are awesome and always friendly, CPO has been amaszing and really want to help you. But after working my butt off for so long I know this generation has found ourselves in a lucky spot. I went straight from AA regijonal to B6 after about a year at AA regional. Being able to get that type ride has been super special to me. But my goal in leaving was to eventually make my way back to American. I like their bases and equipment as well as their route structure. Well no bites from them. I interviewd with Delta and about 3 montrh laster I re interviewed, both times i wasnt awarded the jobl. Which crused my sould initially but i beliebe it was a blessing in disguise becasue id be stuck in ATL for the rest of my life. ( i refuse to coommute) I dont care what equipment Im on, a plane is a plane. But I would like to h ave the option to at least go to the wide girls. im 3 years in here at the blue one and i do enjoy it, not south florida so much but i could see myself here. With all the crasziness going on non of my captains had said get out a get on ASAP if you have the means. Single, dont own anything im an easy guy. I was curious what yall think about this one? The plan was to jump to AA as fast as I could but i cant get them to bite on my resume? Or should i just stick it out. The concensus seems to be before i retire we will be bought by one of the legacies at some point.

One piece of advice that will help you move on, and I mean this in the most helpful tone I can, attention to detail.
How you do ANYTHING is how you do EVERYTHING. This entire post was nearly an illegible mess. If you approached a Delta interview with anything less than 100%, you were dead in the water before you started.
If you want it (AA) get a resume service, get an interview prep, get a nice tailored suit, read at least 2-3 books on their entire history and how they got where they are. Find out what the successful people are doing, and do 10% more than they did. The world is full of underachievers, if you do just 10% more than the average you’d shine. Make yourself so polished that you can’t be ignored. Leave no doubt.

Second the above. Even if you had prep and resume/app review for B6, it's worth it to do it again for the Big 3. Don't let the TBNTs from DAL knock you down. Yeah, it stings, reality check, etc., but honestly it's most likely for the best. You said you want AA and not DAL; then that's your focus. Forget the DAL flop like your summer fling from junior year.
AA is fat on apps, pool is flooded, and we arent having classes again until Jan 2025; it's going to be a minute, but as we've all heard before: be ready. Good luck.

I would say "patience, young Jedi". Take the advice above. Clean up your writing. Prep well for American. And then wait. They will hire again. If that's what you really want, then put all your energy into getting THAT job. You have a good job now, so time is in your side.

Seems like you're talking about two things: should you move on / why aren't you getting the call? Should you move on? You're the only one that can answer that - so many personal variables. Why aren't you getting called? Listen to what others have said about attention to detail. Yeah it's the internet, but that post... You were very lucky to get to B6 after 12 months, so you're in a great spot regardless. Do all the things you know to do to give yourself the best shot if you want to move on and wait like a lot of others are right now. The formula doesn't change much even though the size of the entry door does. Good luck!
