121 FO to 135 Captain Upgrade???
Currently commuting to a big west coast regional airline as an FO and have been presented an opportunity to go become a captain at a busy part 135 airline flying ERJ 135's this would allow me to live in base and upgrade much quicker than I would at my current airline without having to commute across the country for a couple of years if I ever want to be a captain here. Last month I was gone 20 nights with commuting. I am very young and motivated to fly and don't really have much holding me back but its hard to have any life at all with my current situation. Also I will not move anywhere out east. My end goal is likely a Major Airline gig. Currently have been at my regional for about a year with almost 500 hours of 121 time. I just feel like my quality of life and the pay would be much better at the 135 gig I just am wondering on how this would look when I try and go to the majors and if it would set me back or maybe even sling me forward? Any advice would be great.

121 regionals are a better path to 121 majors, but at least you already punched the 121 ticket.
Consider how much flying you'd get vs. 121. If you can build time and upgrade quickly it shouldn't be a setback since a 135 is still at least barely an airliner. I'd be worried if it was a 1900 or 206.
QOL and $, sounds good to me.
