Default Post-Internship Networking

About 4 months ago I wrapped up an internship in the Flt. Dept. at AA. I met so many valuable contacts including Chief/Management Pilots, Fleet Captains, Tech Pilots and many more. I ended up with about 35 business cards. With AA having long been the place I want to retire from, I know I need to keep in touch with these people.

That being said, how often should I reach out so that these contacts are able to remember me but not to the point I become a nuisance who is constantly hounding them? Any former airline interns on here who can share their strategies?

Thanks in advance.

Fork Em! ‘93 Devil Alum here... Congrats on the internship, great opportunity for sure! When you hit certain experience “milestones” is a good time to touch base with your “mentors”. Getting that next certificate or rating, 1000hs TT, R-ATP and your Regional job, etc. You get the idea... Also keep in perspective and don’t put all your eggs in the AA basket either. Pursue all other opportunities that present themselves from your Networking. Best O’ Luck, I wish I could rewind and do it all over again. College was a great time (and the time flew by).
