some questions about ATP
I'm kind of confused and would love some of your help since many of you are very experienced in this field.
I hear some places that you can fly SIC in an airline (121) with an R-ATP (21 years old with the hours needed)
However, i also hear others say that you cant fly 121 unless you have a full unrestriced ATP? (23 years old with hours) Can someone please answer this for me
I want to set my sights straight for a goal and this could help me do that ! thanks guys

To fly as pilot in 121 operations, you must possess an ATP, restricted or “full”. All are ATPs, just the basis of issuance defines the nature of a “restricted” ATP. If you have been thru a military flight training program,750 hours of flight experience is enough. If you went thru a qualifying formal college aviation orogram, it’s 1,000 hours. They’re all ATPs.
