QOL compared to construction
Hello all,
First post. So a little background on me. My original career path was to be a construction engineer and have been going to school for engineering. I had about 1.5 years worth of school left on my degree when I decided to jump ship and pursue a career in aviation. I start my flight training in August and am extremely excited to be in the air. But for now I have to continue making a little more cash doing construction.
So my question is how does the regional life style compare to being a construction engineer? For those who aren't familiar with the norm for we usually work 50-60 hours a week and are often away from home the whole week. So as far as QOL goes for most construction engineers it's pretty ****ty. The money isn't bad though.
Thank you for your input.
