Default more employment history questions

I know this has been addressed in this forum before, but I haven't read the answers I'm looking for.

I worked about 6 different jobs between 1997 and 2004 that I can't remember the dates that I worked. Three of those are no longer in business and I simply don't have the records to verify the dates and supervisors etc.

How do I document this on airline apps? They want a complete history.

Thanks

Not really any useful advise but get as close as possible.
Check your logbook and if your first flight for that company was in Oct it’s likely you got hired in Sept.
For exact dates I use the 1st of the month and it’s never been an issue.

If you can estimate to the correct month, that should be close enough. But I would clarify that when they call you for the interview.

Thanks, Tired Soul and rickair7777.

I found a form on the Social Security website that might be able help me (and anyone else) find employment details.

https://www.ssa.gov/forms/ssa-7050.pdf

You can, according to the website, get a Certified/Non-Certified Detailed Earnings Information that includes periods of employment or self-employment and the names and addresses of employers.

The form indicates it could take 120 days to get the information once they receive the form; via snail mail. Cost is $115

(Moral of the story: keep detailed records of your life, kids.)

Us military people have something called an SF86 which takes care of that...
