Lol. You may need to be a little more lax with your wants.

Default Reasons to atttend

A lot of people will advise you to not go to an event. Ask those individuals to advise WHY you shouldn't go. We have several reasons why you should attend:
1. Several airlines will be offering onsite interviews, saving you time so that later you don't need to travel to interview. You can interview with several airlines in one day!
2. "You don't know what you don't know." It's almost guaranteed that you'll learn something new from someone (whether it be a recruiter or another attendee) if you attend.
3. Networking in invaluable. People often say networking is important but don't really know why. Networking is about developing relationships now that may be able to be leveraged in the future for personal gain. In other words, the people you meet today will likely still be in the industry tomorrow and may be in a position to secure you an interview or otherwise help advance your career. Recruiters move from 'regional' to 'legacy' airlines just as often as pilots. Wouldn't it be nice to have a conversation with a regional recruiter today only to see them a couple of years from now when they're recruiting for a legacy airline?
4. There will be over 300 pilots in attendance, most of them at a carriers that you may be interested in working for right now. For example, you may be interested in a job at Piedmont Airlines. If you attend this event there will be several of Piedmont Airlines pilots who will be looking to advance their career at Atlas or UPS.
5. FREE resume review. All FAPA Job Fair attendees can benefit from a complimentary resume review done on-site.

We maintain that there is are no good reasons to not attend a Job Fair. Other than the time out of your day, it will cost you nothing but attendance has the potential to have lasting effects on your career.
