Classes frozen?
I am a febuary interview, and accepted CJO around then. Was recently sent an email stating “sorry for delay in classes, expect October-December or Beyond” !!!
I was just wondering if anyone had insight in what is going on, and if it is worth waiting versus going to a regional. I do really want to come to breeze, but if it means staying at my current job until 2025 and not being guaranteed anything, not so sure.. Thanks

There’s been additional smaller delays in getting A220s delivered. There’s still Ejet to A220 transitions happening as well. I believe they still need DECs though. As far as I’ve seen, that CJO is basically a guarantee you’ll eventually get a class date, they’ve been pretty good about that.
Sincerely- someone who has had more airline promises broken in 30 years of this biz than you have flight hours.

I read all the airline forums and sometimes I comment when I think it has value. Last time I checked that's allowed on this site.

We are stopping hiring because we aren’t going to g get Airbus deliveries like promised and we are overstaffed. If pilots keep quitting we will have to hire again I think. Maybe not though because we are parking our 190 fleet except for charter. All of this is on top of our already horrible financial woes

Wow, a post from Margy that I agree with for once. To the OP, there is a combination of low attrition from most of the legacies not hiring/running classes, Q3 coming up which is typically slower flying so they are probably ramping down classes for a while. There is still classes going on, but unless you're DEC I wouldn't expect them to rush getting you in. If you have a class date somehwere else, go for it. Waiting for an "expected" class date is a mistake in this industry and pariticularly the current hiring enviornment.
