Wow imagine that. Going to the bottom of the spirit/frontier list swinging gear indefinitely doing red eyes. Frontier is literally hiring fresh ATP flight school grads because they can’t get anyone to go there. Or even better, go to a regional to be used and abused indefinitely for some bonus money. Makes a lot of sense! Or you can go to a place where you’ll be home every night and upgrade quickly making more than FOs at a legacy. Sure you won’t make 300k at breeze but you’re not flying 777s either.

It all depends. Some are making 12-15k a month right now on $75 per hour. Most of our E190 FOs will be pay protected at A220 CA rates by May at the latest. So that’s $160ph. Start crediting 160-180 hours a month like guys are doing and yes, pay gets insane. But if you want to just make a decent regular paycheck, and spend more time at home than you could with any other airline job, Breeze isn’t bad

Start crediting 160-180 hours a month like guys are doing and yes, pay gets insane. But if you want to just make a decent regular paycheck, and spend more time at home than you could with any other airline job, Breeze isn’t bad

I had a 14k 4 day at my airline last month. But you know what, I don’t say “I’m making more than Legacy 320 CAs” because that trip was an abnormal event. So yeah, you can act like FOs making that pay is normal, but it isn’t that something they will continue, so it is disingenuous to say Breezey Bois are making more than legacy FOs
Of course it's disingenuous. These guys aren't interested in objective discussion. They desperately need the validation the comes with being better than everyone else. A few guys do really well at all airlines. At Delta, there were a few nearly million dollar CAs a few years back. Does that mean they everyone there makes that? No.

Are people really expecting Spirit/SWA/UAL wages at a startup? Really? Has Breeze been around a full year yet? No doubt wages had better be competitive eventually to retain and attract good pilots - but do the wages have to be UAL wages at the beginning? Maybe expectations are a bit high for a brand new operation.
If you can get hired at UAL or Delta, you should go to UAL or Delta. If you want to be a part of a growing startup that maybe can’t initially afford to pay you Delta wages, Breeze or Avelo might work for you… Hopefully both Breeze and Avelo can eventually pay competitive wages to attract/retain good pilots - but don’t expect it for awhile since they are both startups…We are talking apples and oranges here - why don’t people understand that? If you don’t want to be a part of a growing startup that can’t yet pay legacy wages and benefits (some people do), then apply to Spirit/JB/any Legacy.

when you say growing means, expanding, adding up etc..., right? well, Spirit/Frontier and even Avelo are growing but you guys are shrinking by 25% next month of May. What happened with 1 A220 a month since last October? there are only 2 at TPA so far. What happened to the famous western regional base? crickets!!!!!!!! but neelmaaaaaaaannnn!!!!!!!!!!!
