[Breeze] Airways

The other large recent startup is doing fine. It's not a bad time to start a airline unless you wanted cheap labor. Yields are excellent and the industry is making money. Breeze has operated on a level of financial disclosure that is secretive to the maximum the law allows. That's not for instance how JetBlue was started. Even the couple statements that Breeze was profitable were virtually useless. Operating profit, gross profit, net profit, profit after one time costs, ex fuel profit ect... No one knows. March was a extremily good month for all airlines. Spring Break travel was very strong and Easter fell in March.
You have posted that Breeze was going to be profitable next quarter since almost the day operations began. Eventually you might be right. So far however you are batting zero.

Also I hope it's not too hard for you being "stuck" where you are as a retired Delta captain who flies corporate jets occasionally and drives sailboats around the caribbean. I truly hope you can endure that hardship. Lol.

Give it a rest Sailing. No matter how much we want to wake them up it's impossible to argue with cult members. Let them learn the hard way like we did at the beginnings of our careers. Never mind that all of their arguments are emotional and they refuse to post actual numbers because they know they don't exist.

Oh please, cult members. You actually sound very emotional. And mad. What numbers do you want line pilots to post? If you don’t believe the news outlets about us getting close to being profitable then there’s not much we can do. As far as retired Delta Captains roaming major forums looking to put down current pilot groups, that’s even worse and probably sad. Definitely stuck on something.

Nobody is "putting you down" (another emotional argument). We are saying that your company isn't profitable and has never had a full profitable year and has a flawed business model. If you take that personal than you have way too much identity wrapped up in who you work for. It's not personal it's business. I'm sure your pilots are fine people. But I don't believe your company will exist as a stand alone airline 5 years from now. Why do I care? Because the constant rah rah from you guys is a little annoying. (Yeah thats an emotional argument). Best of luck. I'll keep my allegiant stock.

"Close to being profitable" now? Lol. Still waiting for you to back your emotional arguments up with financial statements and hard numbers. I'll check back.

Man leaving for delta sounds even more enticing knowing guys like you don’t work there anymore margaritaville. If breeze is annoying then maybe you could stay off our forum. It’s do us all a favor

Also I work for American Airlines. The closest I ever got to Delta was Comair and that was enough.
But since you brought it up I do think you should leave Breeze while you still can. Learn from the mistakes of those who came before you who hung on too long at failing airlines. Hope is not a strategy.
Oh and until the admin issues an edict that members here can only read and post on forums they work for then I'll post anywhere I damn well please. Thanks. Welcome to the internet.

This is another reason why some chose to come here, so they don’t have to fly with jaded industry battered guys like you. Guys that still don’t know that they can actually get treated well by a company.

Is there a Breeze forum I failed to read? Aside from you getting great treatment most posts don't seem to reflect that.
