Is this common? Must be super efficient if guys are getting 19/20 days of while getting over guarantee..? And doesn't seem to make sense that schedules would be built that way below min guarantee.

quick questions,

Im mil fixed wing R-ATP eligible.
on the website it shows
  • 500 hours of US Military PIC on a multiengine, turbine powered, fixed-wing airplane or powered-lift aircraft requiring more than one pilot
Does this mean PIC as in aircraft commander time?
or is it the FAA definition of PIC which then i can count my military copilot time?
thanks in advance.

Depends on time of the year too, summer time with more flying there’s better schedules. January etc, not so much. But days off are around 15 to 18 off up to 20 off for line holders depending on how you bid.

I am at a regional and currently going through the interview process with Breeze now. Provided that it all goes well, Where are the junior bases? I am, ultimately, interested in PVD. Any insight you can share is much appreciated.

Thanks!

pvd and bdl are the most junior. You’re in a good spot if you want those. PVU CHS most senior

Thank you for replying.. Very helpful.

From what I understand, those are only 220 bases. What is the liklihood to be assigned that out of training? Would you happen to know what they are favoring assigning currently (220/195)? From what I have read on here, the way the lines/reserve periods are put together, commuting has an exceptionally bad QOL.

Thanks again!

out of training you will only be assigned 220. 190 slots are no longer being assigned as they are phasing out that aircraft. Commuting isn’t good anywhere as all trips start early and end late but pvd and bdl have the best chance of good commutes with longer trips I.e 3/4 days. There will be a stagnation over the next 12 months as has been discussed with the ejet fleet elimination so you can expect rsv for the next 6-12 months I’d guess. Mco will also be filling out as a base supposedly too so who knows what will happen with the seniority in the bases. By next year all bases will be 220 though. They are going to start doing red eyes most likely out of pvd which will help with commuting I believe

Arrow interview gouge for FO @ breeze

just finished final interview via ms teams with breeze. if hired, training starts within 3 months. likeley base would be hartford or providence. they are phasing out all other aircraft except 220. you will only be trained on 220.

100% of the questions are HR, zero about skills or technical stuff. one interviewer was a former captain at american, and the other person was just HR.

q's i got asked:

TMAAT you had to deliver unfortunate news to someone
TMAAT that you brought a team of people together
TMAAT that you faced a challenge and how did you overcome it
TMAAT that you noticed a safety problem and how did you deal with it
Tell us about yourself that we wouldnt know about you from your resume
Why do you want to work for breeze?
TMAAT you dealt with a conflict and how you handled it
do you have anything else you want us to know about you
do you have any questions for us?
tell me about a time you went above and beyond for a customer.
why should breeze hire you, why are you a good fit for the company?

its more of a conversation than an interview. the two people who interview dont have final say on if you are hired. they simply write up the interview and someone else decides.

important to smile/laugh/be conversational and have a solid understanding of the company, the aircraft, and the executives (esp story of the CEO).
