We have had this argument round and round a million times since the Wright Brothers landed. 1000 hours additional of ANYTHING is valuable. The only people who would argue against it are typically inexperienced aviators.

There’s a plateau, where learning in 121 becomes more beneficial than burning holes in the sky in a small piston. Crusty old aviators that live in the past think thousands of hours of non 121 is necessary to earn ur stripes

Any BA A220 pilots here that can give a good indication of what a realistic timeline is for getting off reserves as a newhire? I realize that there is a 3 year equipment lock, but how quickly can one put in for a base transfer if one were assigned to BDL?
