The one really good thing we have going is customer satisfaction, apparently it’s the highest in the domestic market, it’s no surprise though if you’re bypassing hubs to get to where you want to go. In this industry if people want to fly you, things usually workout in your favor. It would certainly be much easier to get funding.
JetBlue was started at a time when the economy was terrible and passengers numbers were down.
passenger satisfaction is driven by reliability and ontime stats. Neither has Breeze excelled at.

Maybe David can create a way to survive. The charters have made us so much money!! It astounds me to see we are doing so many yet losing so much money. What worries me is the A220 engines that will be pulled for overhaul next year. The turnaround is nearly a year per engine. If we are losing this much now, I can’t bear to see what parked A220s do to us

It might actually be a good thing. Breeze will get compensation for the aircraft that are out of service. That might be far more lucrative than flying them at huge loss rates.

Except we have the highest net promoter score out of all the airlines in the US. I think your info is based on the summer of 22!

Source? Net promoter scores are not generally used to rank airlines. They are used internally for management to understand how their airline is performing. Each airline would set its own Parameters to monitor and assign weights. You can't cross compare to other companies.

it’s only the older A220s, those coming off the line have had the GTFs inspected and those engines aren’t as effected. Just be thankful you’re not Spirit with the PW1100s. The 1500s haven’t been effected quite as much as those on the A320neo.

Also, DN knows how to run an airline- there are revenue plays you can pull to raise money- like sell positions on the A220 reservations. I’m sure Delta would love to pay some $$$ for those.

Delta still has 64 A220's on order. I doubt they have any interest in additional short term delivery positions. Especially not at the prices Breeze paid.

the reality of hoping the company sells off assets/delivery spots to raise capital is really pessimistic.

I’m just saying there’s a lot of FUD going on from that article when it’s not an insurmountable problem w/ the finances. The company could easily look like airBaltic in the future. They had the same engine issues and took the first A220 orders out there. They’re doing just fine now.

except AirBaltic has been around in one form or another since 1992, and is 97% owned by the government of Latvia.

The only thing common between the two airlines is that they both fly the A220.
