You know, for a guy with 500 turbine hours who is sucking around for a job, you're doing a wonderful job announcing what a joy you'll be in the cockpit.

You're the beggar, not the chooser. You now that, right?

if I’m being truthful, if we can attract anyone with 500 hours it’s better than some of what we have been attracting with no experience at all. All LCCs are scraping bottom of bucket. We are not a exception.

Pay is substandard and starting in January we go to a massive 6% retirement match. A contract and ability to get more will be years away
Unless you want to fly wide body, you’ll be doing the same thing over there. A number at the bottom of a massive company. It’s just going to be flying with crusty old captains talking about the good ol’ days reserve out of LaGuardia. Sends shivers just thinking about it. You’ll get DC but you’ll probably take 2 or 3 years to make what you’re making now, maybe by that time we’ll have a contract and you’d be super senior.

No one said anything about flying wodebodies but if you bring it up and won’t to compare, sure other airlines have that option. They also do get DC retirement and have a contract that they have to follow but breeze may never. The people flying at breeze are awesome but the management trying to fool everyone that it’s the greatest place and how your seniority will really be great is a sham. I’ll never turn anyone away from breeze because I love it here, but I will also tell them to tread lightly

Being just a number in a big company is refreshing. I am a small cog in a big machine.

Do ya'll feel dumbb yet? lol

Do you have anything better to do in your lives then nit-pick comments, or are you full of envy, jelously, and rage... because you're stuck working for breeze?
Since you're nitpicking it doesn't say "high"... but I do see you being "that guy".

how do you work that one out? Pay is 50% more per hour and 18% vested, more sick time, proper insurance, so even if you do minimum and stay on reserve you would earn more than breeze.

1st year captain is 312 an hour. Plus 18% contribution without need to match.

You’ll be a FO 1st year, possibly 2nd year as well unless you’re looking to upgrade to a spot nobody wants to touch.
