congrats...
with United opening a TPA and MCO base, I see more leaving. Being able to live at home and go to a higher pay, better retirement....

Rumor is PSA is extending the 250 signing bonus to Breeze pilots with 121 time credit for pay and vacation accrual.

This is a great place if you live in base. Sucks if you don't. Still waiting on the promised commutable trips!

may look to leave early next year

Even a app should have a audit trail. If I put a write up in a app and find when I get that aircraft next that write up is missing you can't sign for and take that aircraft. You would need a investigation to determine what happened before the aircraft would be considered airworthy. I would also screen shoot every write up I made.

it should have an audit trail, but we all know how that can go. We both know airlines get away with a lot of things they shouldn’t because the FAA brings the same mindset to airline oversight as they brought to boeing and the Max. There is STILL at least one airline that gets away with treating fatigue calls punitively even though it’s black and white in the regs that it can’t be.

as far as screenshots go, I would if I had reason to suspect they were doing shady stuff, but I definitely didn’t do this, and I don’t know anyone who did at my last airline.

I have flown with 6 captains now in just 10 days who have told me that they are preparing to leave breeze because of the pay issues and the false promises about bases. I think the exodus could be really bad news for breeze if it starts happening before the spring.

Thats not going to happen.... What's happening here at United, a pilot can bid for NB CA as a new hire as long as they have the time or be assigned it as a new hire if they if it's the remaining drop available....

The problem with Breeze is they’re operating with pilot bases like at Allegiant except they are expecting massive growth. Allegiant had decades head start to find a pilot willing to go to Flint, even then they only need a couple. Breeze needs tons of pilots and now, except who would want to move to ORF or BDL, shoot most of our bases. It’s something they’re going to have to figure out, unless they open up other bases or virtual ones, or just throw cold hard cash at it, it’s going to be tough to find pilots. Certainly cheaper than losing pilots. They obviously thought there would be tons of pilots available post pandemic.

Give us 401K DC or equivalents in pay…
Give us more than $2 in per diem an hour…
Give us better hotels..better then the ones we stayed at the regionals. Have fun with the hour wait in LAX
Give us a uniform that doesn’t get us questioned if we’re pilots or security guards..so degrading
Give us SOME sort of soft pays?…
No ovens, so we can’t eat anything since short turn times but now we can’t even bring our own food!

I do not understand why people here think the pay is “fair”.

Come here you’ll get a line! Non commutable line - but guess what! As an FO, they’ll pay protect you for IOE and consolidation! Not..enjoy a life of displaced reserve even as a senior FO. So many people are scared to mention these things in the pilot call because we get shut down by management. Open forum? Yeah sure. Captains on reserve cannot make more than 70 hours guarantee anymore. NO OPEN TIME ON BOTH SIDES. NO CHANCES OF 150% 200% PAY ANYMORE. Trips are over assigned to new hires off of IOE, than they are taken off the trip and essentially the company is “witholding” trips when that was promised that was not going to be a thing. Loopholes after loopholes!

Unless you live in BDL PVD, this place is just another allegiant or mesa. It’s frustrating when my regional airline had a better QOL and schedule. At least back then we were getting a lot of premiums trips to make the hassle here worth it

Lol, I saw a breeze pilot using the bathroom, and I did a double take. A gray shirt for pilots, really? this is just as bad as a blue shirt for JetBlue pilots who look like cops. Pilot shirts needs to be white and ONLY white. I was shocked when I saw that grey uniform. I thought he was some sort of special divisoins TSA guy

Meh…. as long as the check clears on time I don’t mind it. At least you did realize he was a pilot lol But seriously we do need new uniforms just so people aren’t confused, it should be white.

this attitude is why we get shafted by management. Relaxed uniform>relaxed work rules>relaxed respect> relaxed pay. Get your head out of the sandbox
