Maybe like 90% 220 10-15% E-Jet?

A220 Timeline
Day 1-10: Indoc
Systems studying at home: Minimum 2 weeks
1 1/2 - 2 weeks of Sits
Oral
Week - Week 1/2 of Sims.
IOE

No contract to my knowledge

If you have flown a RJ, and you go home and study very well those 2 weeks - Enjoy the vacation and new type rating. If you haven’t - you have my condolences. But in all seriousness you’ll get through..but seems like it’s the only non jet guys who struggle. Mainly cause they didn’t study hard enough or just rote memorization questions n answers without understanding much at the 2 weeks at home. Just my opinion and what I’ve seen, i’m sure others have seen different things.

Apply here - Happy here, worth it. Wouldn’t want anything else. Fo’s go straight to a line in junior bases. Takes like a whole year at minimum to get off RSV and several years to upgrade at the other LCC’s. You’ll upgrade at mins - Have so much career progression and opportunity here. Everyone knows each other, culture is amazing. But again, I’ve said it before. Be ready to deal w minor growing pains, no direct contribution, ugly uniforms and ur deadheads/travel making no sense. Once that’s fixed. (I’m sure it will be) Best airline in LCC market for a pilot IMO

This was very informative, thanks for taking the time to reply! Im coming from flying corporate jets, so hopefully the training won’t be too brutal, fingers crossed. Nice to hear someone have an overall positive experience despite the few negatives (every company has them!).

What type of guarantees/duty rigs other than monthly does breeze have?
Do they offer paid hotels in training?
How easy is it for line holders to drop/trade trips to manipulate schedule?

Default Pre-Recorded Interview Questions

Just did pre-recorded video interview, here were my questions asked. Four questions, can repeat (re-listen to) each question one time, 20 seconds to think about response, 2 minutes to record.

Tell us something about you that's not on your resume so we can get to know you better.
How have you been able to succeed in difficult training in the past?
What does exceptional customer service mean to you?
Tell me about a time that you had to halt or modify operations over a safety concern.

aviationinterviews.com has a list of all the questions people have submitted, I referenced that and it was helpful.

Does anyone know how set in stone their 500 hours of 121 and/or military time requirement is for “Experienced” First Officers? I’m approaching 7,000 hours total, well over 1,000 TPIC, and am a Check Airman, but my time is all Part 135… should I apply anyway or wait for them to remove that requirement?

Additionally, could a new-hire expect to hold PVD or BDL out of training? Those are drivable for me; other bases would make for complicated commutes.

Last I heard they were opening the FO application again end of May or sometime June. Might as well just wait? I believe the experienced FO application is set to “reject” applicants who don’t click yes to that box that asks if they have 500 hours 121 experience.

All hearsay, but just passing along the info I’ve heard.

Thanks for the info! Will hang tight a little while longer and keep an eye on their careers page.

min guarantee of 70 for reserves and lineholders, or whatever the charter guarantee is (E190/195 charter pilots only). Charter guarantee is usually a window of 78-84, something like that.

paid hotels and a rental car per crew in training

hard to just drop using the software, but trades or pickups between pilots is what we all do. You could ask if someone wanted your entire month schedule, and probably be able to give it all away, if wanted.

Are new FOs flying much out of training? If not about how long until an FO can hold a line on the A220 side
