He’s saying the breeze FO rates were higher prior to the new JetBlue pay raise. The current breeze rates are up on APC. We were told we will know the new pay rates by this coming week or the next.

Well, they don't top out as high, but I guess since Breeze is new you don't look at that....

Hey folks, I'm a 25 year retired Mil. Aviator, then did Corporate for the last nine years, looking for a new "niche" for the next 6-9 years...then mandatory FAA retirement due to age (I'm good with that). Have a good friend who's a DEC, and trying to get me to come aboard as an E-Jet FO in the Charter lane (which I'm just fine with)! What're the odds of just that? And...getting ORF because I live 45 minutes away? Just looking for a decent paying flying gig as I roll into the mandatory "sunset". Breeze looks pretty promising, and I'm good with the starting $105 FO pay (please keep the barbs/spears to yourselves), asking legitimate questions for legitimate answers, from folks already at Breeze please.
Best regards

I’ve flown with a few mil guys in ORF. Most of them turned down legacies to drive to work and sleep in their own bed every night. ORF Is a tiny base, but it’s one of the more jr ones, you’ll likely sit reserve for a while if you choose line flying. I’m not sure how much you’ll get used on reserve up there but I would plan to fly.
The charter thing is about to slow way down and the flying will be shifted to day trips out of all the Ejet bases. Charter tends to go more senior because it’s the only way to commute at Breeze. You might have to wait a bit but I’m sure you’ll eventually hold it as the program grows and ppl leave for other carriers.

Yes must crew members live in base. There are a few that commute from PHX.
